HighwayGuy 1,498
Well, Lib Dems are a last resort like UKIP. They are bottom of the barrel They could hold the balance of power in the next election though
Better Day 5,766
They could hold the balance of power in the next election though The Lib Dems will be lucky if they will get 5/6 MPs. It's gonna be Labour, Tories and SNP who are the main 3 parties Together You And I!
HighwayGuy 1,498
They went against their policies - tution fees - and jumped into bed with the tories which made me lose respect for Nick CleggI know I can't believe they did that either, but that was a promise if they got into a government as a majority so I guess they had to make sacrifices I would have much rather a colation with Conservatives rather than the Conservatives running on their own though, which is why I respect them because they did it even though they knew it would lose them a lot of support. Who knows what could have happened if Cameron did whatever he wanted

Economy 52,864
Immigration has risen (supposedly) and they are "stealing our jobs" according to the Right-wing, it has meant that nationalism ideologies has risen a lot in the last 5 years it meant that some people, in poorer areas, are voting for right-wing parties like UKIP and BNP in order for "us" to leave the EU to stop immigration. When in fact immigration has saved us (don't quote me on that) ol here in Canada our socialist party is the one that says mroe immigrants would steal our jobs although total numbers are not relevant to unemployment. u can have a large population and low unemployment, or a low population and high unemployment those immigrant may take up jobs, but as consumers who buy goods and services, and people who need a place to live (help construction) they will create economy activity for more jobs Anyone who says more retired people is good for the labor market, or immigration is bad clearly doesnt understand that what supports economic activity is production and consumption... someone working produces more has money to consume more Government policies that affect individuals and businesses, thats what affects unemployment, not the total population... in fact younger demographics with a higher percentage of people working is good for a strong economy with more jobs not the other way around If no immigration and old population with a bouchh of retirees was suppostu be good for the economy, Japan should be booming... instead we know where they have been for the past 25 yrs
Goosey 3,017
Lib Dems? I don't know them. The Australian ones however... "I am the world's greatest person that does not want to let people into the country."—US President Donald J. Trump
Melech 9,900
Yes! Labour is just... no. No way. Absolutely not. The Tories are also nasty. David Cameron is a mong pushing all sorts of horrid bills like the **** law or the snooper's charter. And as someone who collects knives I will not vote for a man who says the country must be rid of "the scourge of knives". Bitch, I carry them every day! The country must be rid of the scourge of Cameron! BNP seem too racist so this leaves UKIP as the only choice. And unlike every other candidate Farage has publicly said he supports the legalization of handguns so he gets my vote! Or at least he would if I lived there. Which thankfully, I do not. Farage is racist. He don't see UK being part of European culture. I guess he was bad in geography

field 98
It really is the most awful set of choices this time round.Labour have been a complete non-entity throughout the Tories dismantling of the NHS and welfare state, they really have not stepped up at all. They are a massive disappointment, and should've got rid of Miliband ages ago. He does not have the leadership qualities to win an election. Libdems - how can anyone take this party seriously anymore? They destroyed their credibility by forming the coalition, blatantly, in the end, more interested at the chance for power than forcing another result. They've gone against their own policy and done a pıss poor job of reining in the Tories' worst excesses.Greens need to get their house in order a bit more before I take them seriously, despite having the best policies. Not even going there with UKIP.I am voting in order to get the Tories out, keep UKIP out, and prevent another term of savage destruction to this country. So I am voting for someone I have very little faith in, in the small hope that they will be slightly less harmful overall than the Tories.
