No real HITS but a few timeless RiRi gems.Well, Take A Bow from Bedtime Stories has been Madonna's longest #1 on Billboard, so yeah, that album had a hit. Love Bedtime Stories, though, such an underrated Madonna album.American Oxygen is the type of song that will become popular on the radio because of patriotism, trust me. This is like making a movie about war for the Oscars. The US sells patriotism and you can see that during the Superbowl as well, so yeah, I do think this song will be bigger than the first two songs she released first. I think the only reason this era has the appearance of underperforming is because she no longer has streaming to carry her with all this TIDAL business. Streaming is what gets her to the top of the charts and without spotify shes taking a hit. I suppose they consider themselves martyrs or something but its all nonsense imo.I think of any of the singles so far American Oxygen has the most potential because its simply the most accessible and like the user above me stated, its patriotic. The song does not flow pleasantly. FourFiveSeconds is the only decent song from this era so far in my opinion. The fact it took 9 people to write it though is tragic. I mean she has already released 3 songs and still no sign of the album... It'll probably "flop" like ARTPOP.
