I swear to GOD, users on this site are so cynical against any other pop artist that isn't Gaga. You know people still look at her in this puppet kind of way. Rihanna's at a point in her career - ten years down the line - where she can be her own boss. She doesn't need to listen to anyone or be told what to do. The music video is truly commendable and is one of the few Rihanna videos that is actually memorable, has a message and is worth re-watching. However, this, plus the snippet of Higher she posted ("this whisky got me feeling pretty") are the only good songs she's shown so far, which could mean the album is really hit and miss. She's really challenging her fans this era and taking big risks, which is commedable, but this whole campaign might result in it not really coming to fruition. Most of the fans ultimately don't seem to be feeling her new work, there's been barely any promo for it, her music didn't chart as well because it wasn't on Spotify and there's still no official album name, cover, tracklisting or release date despite us being 3 singles in.
