Gay Couple Denied Rights To Their Biological Child By Texas Judge

Not that I live in Texas or that this is a particularly massive story right now, but still thought it deserved attention.

"A Texas family court judge has denied the request of a legally married same-s-x couple to adopt their newborn biological twin sons. The judge also denied a petition to list both men — or either — on the children’s birth certificates, even though Jason Hanna and Joe Riggs each biologically fathered one of the twin boys,  Lucas and Ethan."

Suppose another example of a child's life having to take a backseat whilst a judge is not only just allowed but encouraged to throw people around because of his, lets be polite; misguided views. :awkney:

Also, the babies are made up of THEIR genes. What else do they have to do to be called 'the father'?

I'm not surprised by any means, but I don't think people outside of America see this enough.

It's this embarrassing as much as it is disgusting?

•sigh*

So they're going to let two children grow up in a foster system rather than be taken home and given a loving home and life by their biological parents? What kind of system :smh:

Bae, you need to move to California, NY, Chicago, or Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area.  Get out of Texas.  They're too conservative and narrow-minded down there.

I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.

no matter what they do in the usa.. even things that don't sit well with me or others... I still love my country. :runhug:

i mean yes, there are some stuff that make you go where tf am i living?

but you should be happy you have more than others are begging for.

my OPINION is that gays in America should be happy they arent being persecuted the way ISIS did the homos-xuals recently.

Why do they have to adopt their biological sons?  I don't get that part??

bc they used an egg donor and the donor has to give it up for adoption then have the parents request it for adoption
