​I swear.... Even when I meet LMs irl, they're all so young, I'm like... always the oldest, and I'm just 22 for Christ's sake. They were all still babies when Just Dance came out.

You would think that her fans would have aged with her and would be mid twenties by now. But all these high schoolers keep getting picked up and fans leave after college it seems. I guess it does make sense. People tend to grow out of celebrity obsession.I just can't see myself growing out f it. It makes me depressed.

​We live in opposite sides of the country.  I am in upstate NY.  When I was young I lived in Studio City in N. Hollywood when my dad was making movies with a jazz band he was in.  I visited our old house a few years ago but haven't been back to CA since.  My dad played alto sax with big bands around the country during the jazz age, and was in the big band that backed up Tony Bennett when he came to Pittsburgh.

I wish you could meet Tony to tell him about your Dad! :) I met Tony in Santa Barbara... He was so friendly and warm. 

​I went to Tony's concert in Binghamton, NY and tried everything to meet him, but he had to rush to his next gig and nobody got to meet him.  Except for two monsters with this amazing story.  They were traveling from NYC to Buffalo and when thry stopped at a grocery store in Binghamton they overheard that Tony Bennett was giving a concert at the college.  So the went over there and happened to be at the door just when Tony got out of his cab from the airport, so they got to chat with him.  They could not get into the concert because it was sold out.  One of them later saw Tony in Canada and asked him to sign a CD for me and she mailed it to me.  What a thrill.  Someday I would like to talk to him about my dad.  I'm sure he would remember the venue ... a club setting where you sit and have dinner and watch the show from your table.  Tony mentioned the small intimate settings in which jazz was performed back in those days:

We might be "ancient" for GGD but I feel that this perception is going to change in a few years when Gaga is getting older too.
