misanthrope 15
C'mon is gonna do fine, calm the **** down. It may not smash but it's not gonna ruin her entire career like some of you drama queens are making it out to be  I never said its going to ruin her career, I just think shes not that strong to start with. So she can't really afford to release such a weak single. I mean honestly.....its going to flop There's several songs that would've have been better choices. But I guess we'll just have to wait it out until the third single.
Ray of Light 8,134
I do have to admit, C'mon is no Judas. She'll do just fine, a casual top 10 hit.

Die Young is generic as **** and somehow that did pretty well, so that honestly makes me not very worried for c'mon when I thought Die Young was too basic to make it to the top 10 even. Ray of Light 8,134
Not even. Die Young was a casual top 10 hit. C'Mon is like straight up filler. Anything that Ke$ha releases is eaten up by the GP. Sure, it's a filler. But the GP has no clue on to what a "filler" is, nor do they care. C'mon is radio material. I'm not saying it will smash, but it will serve its purpose.

Die Young was the lead so its no surprise to me that it performed so well even if it left a lot of people underwhelmed. C'Mon being released second is like inexcusable in my opinion She should redeem herself not release something so....ehh.

She's always been successful but in a sort of lukewarm way, the only single that was truly eaten up was Tik Tok to be honest. And considering her standing in the pop world I don't think she can afford for a mediocre single to just serve its mediocre purpose lol She needs to come hard and prove shes a force to be reckoned with Am I expecting too much from her? misanthrope 15
You are The GP eats up Katy Perry and Rihanna without second thought. Not Ke$ha. She needs to come hard or she'll be left in the dust :coffee:

She doesn't need to prove herself, because she has nothing to prove. When I say she needs to come hard and redeem herself I mean redeem her standing as a singles artist. I'm not implying that she can come as hard as Rihanna or Madonna, I just think shes been absent for 2 years and her popularity was never all that strong to begin with. She has to redeem her place as a pop star to be reckoned with (mediocre or not) like she did in 2010 because she really won't be around long if she doesn't. I don't think thats too much to ask for to be honest, she started off well but C'Mon is a definite stumble in my opinion :coffee:

But you say "she needs to come hard and redeem herself I mean redeem her standing as a singles artist." Now, how can she do that? Which other song from Warrior could pull of this task? What I take from this response is: "Yeah C'Mon isn't that great but what other single is she going to release thats going to be any better? They're all whatever". Which is not the case. I mean if she was going to release something radio safe and super poppy than at least Only Wanna Dance With You is more interesting. Thinking of You isn't my favorite off the record but its performing well on the itunes chart. I mean theres plenty of more plausible options that could branch off from the general underwhelming reception that Die Young received from pop music fans C'Mon was one of the weaker tracks and just sort of seems like a random complacent decision. She could also always release an epic video for C'Mon and make the single choice all that better. Sort of like Bad Romance? Without the video, that song would not be what it is today.
