misanthrope 15
Idk I guess I just don't see it that way. Looking back I think Die Young was the best choice for the lead single, no question. It's the most radio-friendly on the album. I think Crazy Kids would have FLOPPED. Maybe it wouldn't have tho.. Die Young was widely viewed as lackluster. Her verses were criticized for sounding half-hearted. Its a good filler track in the same vein as C'Mon. I believe Crazy Kids would've done more for her than Die Young did because it goes harder and sounds more like Ke$ha with like The Cataracs or something. Why wouldn't that do well? Its better than sounding like Flo Rida I really doubt Crazy Kids would do THAT good on the charts. I believe the GP would HATE the verses, even I find it a little difficult to like them and I like when Kesha goes rap. It's not her just doing her thing, her previous singles verses are not as rap as CK The GP wouldn't hate the verses more than they hate any of her other verses. The point is that if she was forced to go the party route Crazy Kids is probably the best Ke$ha brand radio party track on the record. Pshh...too rap? I don't think any song on this record is more than pop. no the chorus is corny as hell As opposed to what other song on the album exactly?

I don't think any song on this record is more than pop. What I meant with too rap is that it sounds more like a Sleazy verse than a Tik Tok/We R Who We R/Blow verse, it's way harder, I still think the GP would have difficulty to enjoy it

ALX 170
Wait a second, will.i.am was supposed to feature on Crazy Kids or something? No he co-wrote it I believe. Edit: yes, he's listed as one. The story about how they created it in her book was pretty neat

Whether I like it or not I'm pretty sure she'll make it a single so we'll see how it performs I guess..
HarryTheNight 35
Die Young was the perfect lead single, its probably my second favourite off the album, i don't see how anyone cannot like it. C'Mon is in my top 5, i hope it reaches the top ten atleast
BROSEIDON 1,214
I'm sure C'mon will have a giant leap after it officially impacts radio in 2 weeks.

I didn't say anything about other songs, but since you're asking, Thinking of you, Dirty love and last goodbye. I'm just saying the record blows. The cheesy whistling, the ugly guitar, the corny lyrics during the chorus, the "we are the crazy people" and then when we expect an awesome drop, we get some 808-beat with ****ty rapping. I can't get over the cheesiness of the chorus, and then the bridge! The melody is cool, but the lyrics? "we'll keep on dancin' till it's dawn" really?
