Luiz 4,253
spends time in forums and games whose communities advocate behavior that is '' make fun of everything, it's a joke, who cares, why so srs '' etc makes sense i'm from a community like that and my sense of humor is horrific. i opened the thread, saw the shirt and dude is ****ing crazy oh well i guess i'll see my way to hell now. I disapprove of what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it.

field 98
Doubt it, but if so, it's a shame that you would call somebody a dickhead without even trying to talk to them.Anyway, here's the video I was talking about, 15:47-16:47 (although I agree more with Toure than Gaga when they speak about gay people standing up for themselves towards the end, but in this particular situation, Gaga's words apply perfectly)People are entitled to their anger. It's a legitimate response to this message, and you need to distinguish between anger and hatred. I would absolutely, no question about it confront this man if I saw him in person and my anger would be completely justified.

I would absolutely, no question about it confront this man if I saw him in person and my anger would be completely justified.I hit the like button several times on this one! (Too bad that doesn't work)I sincerely can't believe anyone would think outrage at this guy's choices on some music forum he will never see is "bullying". That is not the definition of bullying! Why would anyone be worried about a some online comments this guy will never see versus the fact that he actually wore this shirt to a public event in the first place? What kind of reasoning is that?Like you, I would say what I said here to this guy's face, without hesitation.

Just prior to talking about always loving and never hating, Gaga mentioned problems in the music industry, like misogyny. Is she "hating" the music industry for pointing this out? Like she said, she wants to generate awareness. Like a fellow GGD user said, there is a distinction between anger and hatred. Anger over this shirt doesn't automatically mean "hate", although granted it IS easy to slip into it when there's a clear face involved.

Exactly, she mentined problems, not called somebody a dickhead or wished they'd get raped.
Melech 9,900
Someone should rape him and repeat then since he's telling us to do it Let's not. He wears an awful shirt but is that really something to wish someone?
Melech 9,900
The sad thing is women do often get raped in big festivals, with all the alcohol, d--gs and sleeping in tents. It's not funny at all. There is no way to justify it.Not only woman. A lot men also get raped with d--gs etc. They often getting forgotten but that also happens!

There is a way to convey your dissatisfactions without lashing out at people. No matter how infuriating the opponent may be as long as you keep your composure they can't bring you down. Some people have a hard time with that and they are absolutely on both sides of every argument
