Long before the internet came into existence, decent human beings found rape (and "joking" about it) to be offensive and unacceptable. :applause: Don't think I've ever agreed with anything you've said, but this is perfect. People have been making insulting comedy for a long time, but only after the sudden influx of social justice, everything has become so offensive that god forbid someone cracks a joke on something. If rape is '' off the table '' then so are so many other things, we've basically left with knock-knock jokes. Unless someone has a fobia of doors or people knocking on doors we'll yeah let's ban all jokes and comedy.People are '' triggered '' so easily it's amazing.I still do think that this shirt is awful though. I wouldn't wear it, and would think less of someone who does wear it because it's stupid, douchebaggy and the design is awful. I just don't think it's that big of a deal and I understand that not everyone lives in a safe bubble of social justice and trigger warnings.I love stand up comedy (and comedy in general), and I don't want to go as so far as to say that rape should not be discussed in a comedic medium.. By doing putting rave between those three words, it signifies raving as just another common place every day, part of peoples lives. When you take that out in put in rape you also give rape seemless, habitual, and insignificant connotations and that isn't funny. It isn't a satire of someone who thinks rape is a habitual daily routine, it's just a twist on a song title that disgustingly tones down the significance of rape. As in i'm not coming from a SJW angle trying to pin the worst version of a crime onto men. But you're absolute right about ignorant people being on both sides of the fight. No one I know in real life would find this the least bit funny, and that would include several people I know who have been raped, and their families and friends. Those rape victims would include those who were raped as children, date rate, d--g induced rape, and violent rape. And yes, it includes both males and females.
