Bradley 59,639
No offense but I have no idea what those songs of Mariah are, is she really that influential in nowadays? Anyway, I think the original strategy for Applause was a really good one, premiering the video and the audio at once but the plan got phuqed up by hackers. I hope she does it again for her next one and hopefully no one ruins the game.

Mills 446
The release of Taylor Swift's Shake It Off seems to be the most ideal these days for a great first impression: drum up first the interest over the lead single through social media, a Monday digital release accompanied with the premiere of its official music video to maximise the entire tracking sales period of Nielsen Music, and the usual aggressive radio deal for the first few weeks. One doesn't also need to perform a new single right away on primetime television during its first week since such exposure could better benefit the succeeding weeks and prevent the single from drastically losing its momentum. And with streaming becoming hotter than ever before, it's imperative to utilise the leading streaming sites such as Spotify if one's aim to make the best use of everything for the sake of charting higher on the Billboard charts. Gaga must spend her time going to all radio shows possible and giving them an exclusive 10 second clip of a track from the album. When the track reaches decent plays, put the video out... with a feature! After all these weeks mentioning nothing, turns out there's a feature and the track gets extra hype.
