elijahfan 26,484
I think they should express whatever they want to express - if they genuinely love the work, why should they censor themselves?Plus, it gets me excited tbh
bigpinkenergy 1,015
Aren't we all sort of like that though? We get protective over our own work, and as the fans we love what those we support put out. To be honest this fanbase is the only one that trashes Gaga as much/more than they praise her. BlackJudas 129
There's nothing wrong with being confident in your work. If you feel like it's your strongest piece, why not give yourself props? It's the fans that hype it up bigger by posting threads about how they hope it gets released and how they hope it's not another betrayal. Plus, just because the song is great (to her) doesn't mean it'll get released on an album. The song in itself could be a different theme or isn't cohesive with the project she's working on at that point.
Ronk 14,762
I think she's just excited and passionate about her creations and wants to share that enthusiasm with us.This.no. it's not a bad thing to be proud of their work This. I live outside the space time continuum.
Alfonso 1,551
I think it's okay to be confident about what you do. But it's not okay to keep teasing about something you think is very good, when you're not even sure if you're gonna release it or not. This
LoveandMagic 1,731
I think she gets extremely excited about her projects (and she has every right to be proud) and wants to spread her enthusiasm. It's like buying a really cool gift for a friend or loved one for their birthday. You struggle to keep the secret, but you can hardly wait for the big reveal! Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."
blacklistedd 599
I'm going to say 2 cliches:(1) why shouldn't she be confident about her work though? people slap her on the wrist for daring to call herself an artist outloud.(2) she probably could use a dose of humility though when promoting her record I guess. a dose. but honestly for all the blah blahing people do about her being too "cocky", I think she actually is a pretty humble person. she is confident in and excited by her own work but at the end of the day shes not just about herself. shes got a team of people that we actually know about and we get to see their own excitement for what they're involved in as well. its not like people keep track of rihannas team members and hear their excitement for what she does. so we dont have comparisons for that or how humble others team members supposedly are.I think the only time she and her team were legitimately cocky about the work was Born This Way. Egos were truly inflated.
Nicole 1,809
Yeah and fans literally hang off every hype tweet they post. Both parties are benefiting, Gaga + those who work with them can raise hype for their work and the fans get excited and look forward to the release of the album/song. giskardsb 12,565
Ya'll praise RedOne yet every damn tweet is about how big a HIT his next song is going to be.
Girrr 1,086
It's not so much that "people" are being turned off. When she and her team hype the music, it's not just the fans that are listening. Online media outlets are too. Sites who will be reviewing the music once it's out, sites whose opinions matter to the GP, see what's being said about the music. And if the music doesn't live up to the hype, there goes the critical acclaim. I agree. They should watch what they say.
