Are Lady Gaga & The Haus Over Confident in LG's Work?

I don't mean anything negative by this or want to start an argument, but do you think Lady Gaga and the Haus kind of become too over confident in Lady Gaga's work, kind of overly cocky? It's good to believe in the work, but sometimes it becomes kind of like they are trying too hard to sell the work and act like it's God's gift to music. A lot of performers and other singers don't act so cocky about their work and they do great (Sam Smith for example, he's very humble and doesn't like to make a big thing about his music and then with Kanye, he's so cocky and people hate it), Lady Gaga and the Haus make comments about how great they think her music is and it doesn't do well, I think some people become turned off by Lady Gaga's "cockiness" about how great the work is. It ties into the overhyping and teasing, etc. Should they be more humble? Thoughts?

The GP don't even know what "The Haus" is so people aren't turned off by their cockiness.

And there's nothing wrong with her being proud of her own work. And if you're worried about "overhyping" don't read her tweets. Don't pay attention. It's simple enough.

I understand what you said, but she was "cocky"at that time mostly because of DJ White Shadow and Zedd, they have big egos and that definitely turned us and Interscope off. And the result was seen, the label did not support the album because they did not like the music.

Maybe. I always thought that Gaga is too smart and talented for the music she is putting out. Like the way that she speaks and describes her art is way above the actual music. She comes across as extremely intelligent in her interviews and it seems like she was somehow stifled.

I mean I love her music but I have always had this feeling like the best is yet to come.

I've followed other artists in the past, and it is the same with them. The writers and producers they are working with will tweet out messages saying the work is going to blow people's minds or be the album/song of the year, etc. I've seen their friends and family send out tweets like these when they hear the music early. 

This "hype phenomenon" is definitely not limited or unique to Gaga. Many super  stans just think it is, because they haven't followed other artists the same way.

I think it's okay, it fits her persona to be proud of the work and see a great importance in the art.  She doesn't get goofy about it in interviews or anything.  She's a queen and acts like one.
