Yea Gaga released it nearly half a year later, but those artist who released empowering songs did it primarily because they knew Born This Way was coming and they hopped on that bandwagon so fast. Pitchfork never acknowledged her existence since 2009 lol. They hate her, even at least a single song wasn't put on their top 200 songs of the decade so far, and yes even TEOG didn't.
