Will Gaga give exclusive streaming rights to Apple/Beats?

She's not leaving interscope. Stop trying, all of you.  

​I'm giving a place to discuss where she will give her streaming rights if she does at all. Don't speak so definitively as if I'm making some outrageous argument. Jimmy Iovine has a huge stake in Apple now and I think it would make sense if she went there. Wasn't saying it was the be all end all, it literally is just an opinion.

​Jimmy Iovine and her are close too. I was figuring where would she give her streaming rights and Apple made the most sense out of the three options. Do you think you could give a different opinion without talking down to me?

She won't be exclusive with her rights. She's not foolish enough to limit the access of music consumers to her material. Besides, several places streaming her material results in more revenue streams for her.

Each site has to license the material so the more sites equals the more royalties. That's why I think Tidal is an idiotic move, the revenue for artists superficially seems greater but they're a) limiting access to their catalog and b) they're ultimately going to make less because less sources have licensed it

​But I would say that she is most likely to give exclusive content to apple out of the three services! I know Tove Lo had a spotify exclusive so it'd make sense if we see the same thing reflected in Apple's streaming service.

Itunes/Apple/Beats is not a record label. She won't be able to give exclusive rights of her music to any streaming service, without her label's permission.

I think if the right deal came along she'd definitely do something special with Apple/Beats, but barring that, I think she'll just allow her stuff to be distributed wherever Interscope decides her music should be.

I don't know If I still like Interscope at all, Katy's label would give her a similar budget and they do know how to stretch an album era

OT: anything but tidal pls and her being friends with Beyonce and Jay Z has nothing to do with that, Gaga's more loyal to her label's executives

You mean three years (or so) from now...as far as Gaga signing with another record label? 

I agree, I could see Interscope possibly going with Apple for exclusives, due to Jimmy's connection.

​I mean her label could come to an agreement with apple without transferring Gaga. Just the rights to exclusive content and stuff like that possibly. But after three or so years I think it's a strong possibility.
