I believe it will be more mainstream sadly, but still fresh, new and meaningfull like always. It looks like she really wants to be the 'it' girl again and prove everyone wrong and there's nothing wrong with that. She was never basic, so I won't worry about that... She's coming to set the new trends, not follow the old ones and she's coming for BLOOD.. So overall.. I can't wait for Gaga to destroy the basic's careers of all the pop 'artists' out there who think they are on her level only because they were more successful for a year or something.. Electronica is still a must for me, especially heavy industrial beats or club-bangers with a hint of EBM, acid techno samples. And hey, didn't know Hamlet was a LM! maybe I shouldn't drown in that fvcking lake and we could belong together just like ARTPOP ...has anybody seen my disco stick? gagzus 15,901 Posted April 10, 2015 Share Posted April 10, 2015 We said that for ARTPOP........................ARTPOP is still a good album & was better than pretty much every pop album since it was released, because it had about 10 surefire great songs unlike the other albums that had like 4/5 good songs.& we never said that about ARTPOP we all just said it was gonna slay just bc it was Gaga we never mentioned anything about being mainstream or critical of the music until everyone called it a flop Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think if you look at her discography, from The Fame to ARTPOP, there is a direct progression from mainstream to experimental with her music. I dont think she wants a repeat of ARTPOP on her resume and I think she will head back in the opposite direction. I would honestly be shocked if her next album was experimental, especially considering redone is involved. By going back to her roots with redone I think she is returning to a more mainstream sound, but she will always have some sort of unique twist on mainstream which is why I love her Cold as ice cream, but still as sweet.
