​The main issue I have with what you wrote is the idea of "rape by legality" but I'm too tired for this. Maybe I'll come back in an hour or so and talk.
This particular case is complicated, because on the surface boh members seem to be happy in the relationship, but we don't know the full story, the full interview hasn't even been released. For all we know he might feel pressure to remain in the relationship due to the kids. 

She got pregnant when he was 13. The relationship started when he was 12. Generally speaking a s-xual relationship between an adult and a 12 year old is rape. Not just by "legality". 

He suffered from alcoholism and depression. He seems to believe at this stage that it was due to failings from the "system" but it's not uncommon for victims of child s-xual abuse to turn to alcohol.

Why would he later sue other parties for not protecting him from s-xual explotation, when he clearly didnt have a problem with it since he is now married to her? Or am I misunderstanding everything?  

That's what I was thinking  I shouldn't be the one to judge, but it seems pretty inappropriate imo. But if they're happy

If they are truly happy and at peace with each other....okay...but I find the whole thing disgusting. There is nothing wrong with May-December romances when both participants are mature adults, but when one is still a kid it's pedophilia. I find Mary Kay disgusting honestly. It's kind of like when I heard Phil Robertson got with his wife when she was 14 but had to wait for her to turn 15, then decades later told a crowd of grown men to marry fifteen year olds before the women grow up and be "all about the money" (no it's before they mature, go to college, recognize their self worth, and realize they can do much better, Phil). 

When one are 12 - 15, even if a person is very mature and smart, there are still a great deal of life experiences waiting for them that will help develop them as a person. For someone like Mary Kay, who is way older, and has been placed in a position of trust, she should know better. He was a CHILD. She took advantage of that, in my opinion, and exploited him to fulfill her needs. I think it's despicable. If she truly cared for him, she would wait until he became a grown man, but the fact that she had s-x with a child...ew. 

I'm going to need a shower, this is just too vile.
