People looking away is wrong. No matter if a man or a woman gets abused. Simply is that. Violence is always wrong and if I see someone being abused I try to help no matter men or woman. If the men would defend himself it would look like he would abuse the woman. Or the abused men doesn't believe in violence.

I can't at your ignorance :air:

A man is not ten times stronger than a woman lmao

Well, I don't care if someone agrees or disagrees. I have my own opinion about this and it won't change. If you don't believe that a normal, healthy man is physically stronger than a normal, healthy woman then I don't know what's wrong with you. I did say that I don't believe in any violence so this conversation is just me thinking realistically and explaining why people didn't defend a man. I never said that they did a good job by not defending a man. All I said is that it's understandable why they didn't and gave my explanation which I believe is correct.

And I don't agree.

I think Doveve makes some good and relevant points. She's not saying violence against men should be tolerated, only giving some reasons why people don't take it seriously!

It's a matter of how we perceive the s-xes, not the actual reality of the two specific people involved.

When people see this man set upon the woman, they think he could do her real damage, and so step in. When they see the woman slap the man around, they laugh it off because they don't see any serious threat there.
