What do you think of ARTPOP as a whole thing ? I mean, the music, the era, the fashion, the tour, the collbarotations, the philosophy and the message, the impacts on Gaga's personal and social life and career, public image, etc. In what way did ARTPOP change Gaga?

I love the album and the message of the era more than anything Gaga has ever done. The ARTPOP philosophy is so beautiful and underrated. It's a shame all this magnificence was overshadowed by messy management.

i think ARTPOP tought gaga that she is not invincible and she shouldnt let her emotions controll her life

otherwise she'll  crash

the album was amazing for the first couple of months but it doesn't have great longevity.

the tour was amazing you really can't judge it from YT videos, you have to be there too really know what its like.

the looks were hit and miss.

videos = amazing (the 2 we got :madge:)

Bloody

She said in 1 of her interviews for the album “It’s my intention for you to have a really good time” and so I did, despite the mess and that's what matters for me at the end of the day.

Well it let Gaga know that Born This Way wasn't the test that sorted out those who wouldn't stay. It was ARTPOP. ARTPOP made it very clear that a majority of this fanbase has no intention in supporting her if she actually stays true to herself. I noticed that she didn't interact with the fans as much as she did during the BTW era and that she currently doesn't interact with us at all, which is quite understandable if you just casually lurk on the forums here.

9 out of 10

GREAT MUSIC

GREAT PERFORMANCES

GREAT VIDEOS

A lot of missed opportunities and mentally challenging for Gaga but she coped through with it.

She delivered amazing tour and as whole ARTPOP was one of the greatest albums ever and I love her for that :legend:

Bad Bromance

IMHO, ARTPOP is her best work to date.  And like, I just said, this is MY opinion so nobody better come in here and attempt to drag me because to each their own!   :queenga:

The era was tarnished because of the fiasco with Troy Carter and the fact she was without a manager for a few months.  Had the split from Troy occurred around the time the Roseland shows were took place, we would have had a much different era.   :smoke:

I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.

yeah I noticed that too tho she was very interactive during C2C era and promo times she even logged in LM.com few times last year around the C2C release .... and now I miss all those Q&As on twitter etc that happened during the beginning of the ARTPOP era :cryga:

Radio Ga Ga

Several months ago if you asked me which was my favorite gaga album, I would have said ARTPOP, but I feel like now its magic has kinda died down, and the music in BTW & TFM is simply just better in many ways. However, that is not saying ARTPOP is a bad album; I really enjoyed it and i think it should be lined with the other gaga masterpieces. The fashion during the early phases of the era was very enjoyable, particularly in the Applause video, but while the tour was great, the costumes were just kinda awkward and out of place.

or before she even started the era in early 2013 so u know she find someone new and build new plan and not run with the wind like she did in Q4 of 2013 :proud:

some really great looks (some of my favorites)

great songs

the visuals (performances and imagery in general) was a bit weak

what she was trying to accomplish/acknowledge with the whole  "ARTPOP" concept was really cool and all, but i dont think the concept is strong enough to be the concept of a whole album/era.

I honestly think ARTPOP could've been great if gaga and her team knew how to execute all the amazing ideas they had, of course troy betraying ha played a huge role in all this mess, but whatever.

over all it was an okay era for me, happy moments, sad moments... not what i expected, but this only excites me for whats yet to come
