Staryu 6,162
I love her music SO much and nothing will ever change that, but Björk... wtf.
Bebe 17,053
Eek. Björk sis you are incredibly talented and, when you're not beating up reporters, you seem very sweet but jeez. There is a part of me that likes how direct that quote is. It gets her point across well, but it's a heavy word to use and has very strong and emotional connotations. I don't think she is racist, just ignorant on it's importance. Hopefully she refrains from using it in the future.
BLACKOUTbritney 22,264
DISGUSTING can not believe she said that, literally shocked obvious other ways she can express what she's trying to say
Jed 7,716
not her place to use the word like that, even if it's a solid connection. That being said, could someone explain in depth what she could have meant by this?
Swan Heart 7,382
Björk, I love you so so much but don't use words like that.. It was a stupid think to say sis. Anyway, I'm sure she's not racist, guys, like come on, she's Björk, don't make such a big deal out of it. She didn't mean to say it in a bad way, I'm sure. I didn't even noticed it until now, and I've read the interview.. We know what she meant (or not? ), but let's get offended anyways. They say it's the last song. They don't know us, you see. It's only the last song if we let it be.

No Angel 128
Ahh... I'm a little annoyed by this considering I was getting my life to Vespertine this afternoon. It wasn't cute when Lennon called women the '****** of the world,' and this isn't cute, either, even if it's not a direct quote.I don't think this brands her as a racist, but It's definitely not cool to use if you're not Black. Eerrrr, not a fan of people using us Blacks as a metaphor to fit their agenda.
ItsTommyBitch 12,640
But only white Americans can be racist! It depends how you define racist This is some expensive tea btw . Also, I don't fully understand what she means by this [:duck:] 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから
