on OP, I can't really say for sure if Gaga was influenced by her or not. who knows, there are some similar sounds in The Fame and The Dutchess and I think Gaga was influenced by a whole bunch of things that might have included Fergie.

I don't think so. I've heard that it was actually Timbaland and Nelly Furtado who influenced The Fame. Promiscuous and other songs they released together like that were making waves and the label or producers wanted Lady Gaga to make a sound targeting clubs. Originally in the beginning, a rock album was rumored to be Lady Gaga's debut but that changed because of Nelly Furtado and Timbaland's success.

But in relation to Fergie, I think it would interesting if Lady Gaga worked with the producer of Big Girls Don't Cry by Fergie.
