There were lots of "backstage rumors" that ended up being taken out of context or they evolved as they went through multiple people. 

What exactly was the question and what exactly was the full answer in the backstage setting? What was the conversation leading up to the question? We don't have transcripts of the backstage conversations and we weren't there to see the way the answers were given. Too much is left up to the interpretation and credibility of individuals, who bring their own biases to a situation.

I would agree with you on that part. I could see Gaga saying she would like to bring it back. I could imagine it might feel incomplete to her, since it had to end abruptly with the injury. Now, the actual cost and time in doing this for a night or even a few nights (and the actual interest outside of the diehards) is probably what makes this more of a hope or dream than a realistic consideration.

This was rumoured a long time ago, it never ended up happening and it won't happen. She is not gonna go back to BTW era for a few nights just as much as we aren't getting DWUW vid.
