Dominic 11,922
Style was the definition of a radio smash and it didn't. Bad Blood is the definition of a little girl hop scotch chanthem. Keep that positivity up tho sis. Hate to say it but I have to agree with Bad Blood sounding quite young and immature but she's going for that controversy and she'll get it. Poor Katy tho, she's barely responded to Taylor's shade. Taylor's pretty much arguing with herself Katy remains unbothered. SS77 2,034
I still want "I Know Places" as a single.
Spock 20,290
Style was the definition of a radio smash and it didn't. Bad Blood is the definition of a little girl hop scotch chanthem. Keep that positivity up tho sis. What happened with Style is that she just did not give a f*ck anymore and could not be bothered to promote. She was lazy. The only performances were the iHR release day rooftop concert in October and VSFS in December. She could have done Grammys, BRITS and talk-shows but she just sat on her ass. Don't make me write an essay But it wound up peaking at #6 and is still doing pretty good on radio and streams. My post was half serious anyway. Is Bad Blood the best song to choose as a single? No imo it is not. But it has the Katy controversy, Kanye, pre-tour hype (the tour starts like one week after the radio add) and there are rumors that kinda got confirmed that she going to perform it at the Billboard Muisc Awards, where she is expected to obscenely sweep. So it has chances to do pretty well who will love me when the night is over

Uhhh, I love Katy and defend her quite a lot but get your facts straight hun. The only time Taylor even remotely alluded to anything was during the pre-album release Rolling Stone interview in August.Katy however, tweeted the Regina George thing, had her then boyfriend Diplo tweet about Taylor's ass (which totally backfired but hey, whatevs), had a dancer blast Taylor in interview, mentioned her in her Super Bowl profile, Elle and a couple more.Katy most evidently does not remain unbothered at all who will love me when the night is over

Dorothy Gale 7,575
1989 has so many better songs. Bad Blood is probably in my bottom two.
Lucas 27,091
Welcome To New York would be more successful than Bad Blood tbh, even Wonderland or New Romantics

Spock 20,290
Welcome To New York would be more successful than Bad Blood tbh, even Wonderland or New RomanticsWith the amount of hate she got for being New York's ambassador and the fact that it's considered a third tier album filler track, I don't think it would have done well at all tbh who will love me when the night is over

I think Taylor's definitely got a chip on her shoulder when it comes to Katy. The hardest thing in this world is to live in it
Spock 20,290
Isn't Bad Blood written about Katy? And doesn't it accompany pictures of Grammys in the booklet? I think Taylor's definitely got a chip on her shoulder when it comes to Katy. I'm not saying that Taylor doesn't hate her or that the song isn't about her, just that she never even mentioned her. And it's a picture of Imogen Heap's house with a kettle, a piano and Grammy. Since stans like to stir **** up they say it's because of Bad Blood but there are also the I Wish You Would lyrics on that page. idk if it's Katy shade or not (I don't think it is) but even if it were, that's the only thing she had to say about it, and again, did not mention her. who will love me when the night is over
