Bette Davis 12,742
how would it be reductive? it WOULD be reductive for her to make a song with say Nicki Minaj, some DJ or someone popular rn just for a hit. You guys seem to forget she's almost 30 & was raised with the musicians you guys call "old" & she clearly likes them, y'all praise madonna so why not actual musicians who have musical talent? I always look forward to your tea parties Cold as ice cream, but still as sweet.

LoveandMagic 1,731
I would be in total heaven if Bowie and Gaga got together! It would be magical!! Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."
JDi 1,495
it's not that he hates her.he's a rockstar. he's also a myth. a pop moment won't be seen as a good move this late into his career. 30 years ago, maybe. they both know this. and if she admires him as much as she says she does and has such collaboration in mind, she will wait for the absolute perfect idea to approach him with. elijahfan 26,031
Who could possibly say no to the idea?! lolBut the thing is - I'm not sure Bowie is such a big fan of Gaga in the first place, and I'm afraid she knows it. But yeah, that would seem like a perfect match.

True tea Some behave like little kids, just because Bowie not talked about Gaga yet. Bowie is a REAL artist and not a Twitter and Facebook Celebrity. So when Gaga want to work with him, she needs a damn good idea and would have to leave the boulevard world. Bowie will not risk to pollute his legacy status, it needs time and much more artistic music and pieces from Gaga to convince him.
freebit 6,240
I'd love that in theory, but I also feel like just the idea of it is bigger than anything either artist would, or could ever come up with.
NIKE 273
I would love to know what he thinks of her
Jed 7,716
I guess just because he hasn't ever publicly spoke about her or reached out to her to our knowledge, I'm sure Gaga would have name dropped that he had at some point if he did. If anyone's influenced her the most obvious one would probably be him with the recreation of the lightening bolt and mannerisms, with her so openly adoring him and paying tribute it just seems a bit sad that he wouldn't comment on it I would love it! I don't know where everyone gets the idea that Bowie dislikes her from? I think I remember there being an article sying Bowie "didn't get" what Gaga was about.. But I can't find it now. But I think it was when he came forward praising Lorde the potential shade came thru.. Gaga was vocally pro-Bowie and nothing but Lorde comes out with a great new album and Bowie gives his stamp of approval. I hope it isn't true but maybe Gaga isn't Bowie's cup of tea.
