Michael 533
Mika has announced the release of a new album, 'No Place In Heaven'. The LP is due to be released on June 15 via Virgin EMI and follows the singer's three previous records, 'Life In Cartoon Motion', 'The Boy Who Knew Too Much' and 'The Origin of Love'. 'No Place In Heaven' will be produced by Gregg Wells, who is best known for his work with Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, Rufus Wainwright and Adele, and is to be, according to the press release, "a mature new record" that evokes "memories of classic 70s pop albums". Fans who pre-order the album through iTunes will instantly receive a download of the track 'Last Party', Mika's tribute to Queen frontman Freddie Mercury.Since the release of 'The Origin of Love' in September 2012, Mika has appeared as a judge on The X Factor Italy, a coach on The Voice France, and, last year, released the single "Boum Boum Boum", which featured lyrics entirely in the French language. http://www.nme.com/news/mika/84168 Listen to the lead single 'Talk About You' now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhXezONsoJI

HEARTHUNTER 7,611
What did he say? I think he said something like she was superficial (about ARTPOP) on an italian mag. They used to be friends but I completely don't get his shady behavior.

Darcklighter22 2,289
I think he said something like she was superficial (about ARTPOP) on an italian mag. They used to be friends but I completely don't get his shady behavior.Just looked it up. It was an ARTPOP cover art dissHow was the approach to the television?"I was never passionate to the tv, but I do not forget that I am a pop artist, so for me the intellectual things, alienating and trash have the same level of interest. The pop art is spontaneous, its value occurs with time. How many Salieri there have been in history for any Mozart? Lady GaGa has made a mistake: trumpeting to the four winds that she had recorded an album of pop art with a cover designed by an artist of pop art. Ba--l and superficial. ”SourceNow OT, I think he's good but the lead single didn't show any musical growth. will still give the album a listen. I find it funny how he made those statements about Gaga's cover art was "Ba--l" in the article I posted above tho and yet for example it took him a while to truly admit to any press he was gay. Although could of been just meaning Koon's work in general.
