RAMROD 109,666 Posted April 5, 2015 Share Posted April 5, 2015 Well, all I can think.of that the songs didn't go in direction she wanted for the album she was making then.As we might know she is an artist and perfectionist, she wanted specific theme or sounds going on for each albums.And that is why she must filter and shelves many songs/demos that does not go alongbwith that, eventhough she likes them so much.Creative process, it always happen. I know its just a demo but some of the lyrics and production seems very amateurish. I do love the "Its not that I don't wanna love you..." part and the "its not that I don't wanna love you cause ive really tried and I just wanna hang on to the old you..." part at the end though. Overall though I don't see it as a particularly strong song.I think Princess Die didn't get released because people view it as a song about suicide, potentially even glamorizing it. I don't think Gaga wants that kind of song forever concreted in her discography. As for Future Love, maybe it just didn't fit with the theme or flow of any of her albums. Tho I'm more confident now because she said that she is no longer doing d--gs and weed so she will be in perfect state of mind when she picks the songs for the next album. That's not because YOU don't like it that everybody has the same tastes.I still remember Lady Gaga saying that she loved doing J&D, it's still a good collab. It deserves to be on ARTPOP. Just the line "don't be insecure if your heart is pure" is so powerfull in my opinion and whenever I hear it while listening it warms my heart.
