Why do Monsters on here keep expecting Gaga to do what everyone else is doing?

Not a day goes by that I don't see "should Lady Gaga make a video or album or era like...." And they insert names of people who are trendy right now. Why do monsters do this? Why do Monsters expect Gaga to be anything or anymore than who and what she is? Explain please so I can understand. I'm confused. I love Gaga the way she is and for doing her own thing, not imitating or following other people who may be big right now. Lady Gaga kind of followed a trend in music with ARTPOP and it backfired for her, personally I don't want a repeat of that era.

I don't see anything wrong with discussing things people would like to see from her but when it gets to the point of expectation and then disappointment, it's a little crazy

I don't actually think that she followed trends with ARTPOP.

She had announced earlier that this record included EDM and many followed this trend.If it was released earlier like it was supposed to, people wouldn't say that it was outdated. 

Anyway, I think that many monsters expect Gaga to do what other artists to do because they're afraid of her underperforming, so they want her to follow successful tried before formulas. It's not so bad because in this way they show that they care and they want our fave to be successful.

I'll never understand Monsters like that on here. if they want someone who follows trends and copies others to stay relevant they should just go follow Katy.....

I agree. I don't want Gaga to follow trends. There's plenty of super successful pop stars that do the predictable and trendy, which is fine, but I can't be bothered with most of them (though I am happy for them and their fans - minus the trolls). I like Gaga because she is different. I like it when Gaga experiments and tests her talents. 

Charts are nice, in the sense it's like rooting for your favorite team, but I don't let chart success determine my musical tastes, nor do I let it decide for me who has talent. It's really cool when your fave get that top 5, but it really doesn't determine the quality of the song. I doubt later generations will really care either. I hope Gaga thinks the same.

I never want her to do what others do. Many people are just here for the charts tbh and they want Gaga to be successful in terms of sales etc. I'm here for the music, not for the charts. Of course it is nice to see her being successful but i mainly care about her music!

​the music was suppose to be generic but trippy EDM, TFM on acid i believe she once called it.

but the era was suppose to be her most artistic one, thus combining art & pop. such a shame her label never let her keep the Disney Princess High theme for the music & then let her be artsy beyond the music.

But i hope in the future she never tries to do what the GP are wanting her to do tbh, that trend can be kept by Beyonce & Katy as per usual not gagz
