I love Bey to the whole world and this song is fantastic! I love that Beyonce knows how to play but I feel like she doesn't know the full understanding of a piano. Gaga was classically trained and knows music theory but I would've loved to see bey like go up and down the key, play some different chords, put some stylistic melodies in there, it just seemed kinda bland. It's not hard to teach someone 4 chords and a simple melodic motif but like I said, i would love to see Bey progress into an experienced piano player! 

 

*this same chord progression is similar to Betty Who's acoustic version of Love Me Harder. Not saying it's exactly the same but one has soul and the other has the acoustic feel to it. Also one is on piano and one is on guitar. But they sound similar in a way. Then again, chord progressions are always recycled so it doesn't matter lol
