Andreyw 4,285
Wasn't this thing with Azealia's Ice Princess clarified a while ago?
Prismatic 4,789
Can't believe you are just now finding this out. Funny how you are quick to call out AB now when she released BWET with this song back in November I see nothing but clocking and teaing I Only Stan For Risk Takers
Admin 24,441
It's so crazy how you can just speak over someone else's song and release it as your own "music".
MonsterOfSpain 8,318
She obviously sampled it lol... although it sounds much better with Azealia's vocals over it.Thanks for reminding me I had to watch the Ice Princess video though
Supersonic 49,376
Also a bit more on topic: I find it very odd that Azealia has a habit of rapping over already commercially released stuff. I'm not a big fan of that in Hip-Hop in general, that "A Millie" mess back in the day was the best example for that where even Beyoncé jumped on that bandwagon. Make your own beats, or have them customized.
420 1,042
I knew I've heard that chorus somewhere. 너와의 어색한 침묵이 차라리 좋아
elijahfan 26,403
Oooh the sensitive subject of samples is back..... I love how people rediscover the existence of samples every once in a while, regularly shattering all their beliefs in the music industry

Yeah, I'd prefer if she'd use beats that were made specifically for her, but Azealia has really good taste when it comes to choosing instrumentals, so it's not an issue for me. I mean, at least she doesn't have ghostwriters and her lyrics slay.
Bio 23,538
Gaga was a bit generous with calling that a sample, it was literally just the lyrics "Rocket #9 take off to the planet Venus" sung by her and both Zombie Zombie & Sun Ra got credit for it. It was a reference at best. That's why I believe her when she says she wrote pretty much all of her music by herself, Sun Ra got a songwriting credit for this sh*t, I don't wanna imagine how many of those numerous writers on ARTPOP and Born This Way contributed nothing and Gaga was like "Ahh what the heck, he was in the room and need the money." No, Zombie Zombie`s vocals are in the song. The "to the planet, to the planet" part.

Desperado 2,439
It's not just the chorus, the melody is the same on the beginning too. And the chorus is litterally the same. Pretty sure it's sampled. I hate today's music industry. Imo, it's okay to sample a song, but maybe few vocals or one bit, not the whole instrumental, or chorus. :nails: She's singing on the chorus too lol
