He also manages her production company and the songwriting royality BS. He'd wouldn't let her go bankrupt again. And any money they do spend on an artist, they recoup out of the artist's royalties (i.e. it's taken from the artist's cut rather than the label's). The label system is basically a scam on the artists.Sadly, I could believe the "lost faith" part, based on their lack of proper support for ARTPOP.
