Dolev 867
Yes really. And it's even worse, since it's not only words and empty threats. The nerve. Like Iran is up to peacefully end Israels existence and not killing 6 million people with nuclear weapon. That sounds fun
lego 44,165
Hamas had won free and fair elections Delusional... Plus, they declared war on Israel...Tell that to Chomsky and Carter Center which supervised the elections.Israel declared war. Palestinians have right to armed resistance under illegal occupation. The right to self-determination by armed struggle is permissible under the United Nations Charter’s Article 51, concerning self-defense.Armed resistance was used in the American Revolution, the Afghan resistance against Russia (which the U.S. supported), the French resistance against the Nazis, and even in the Nazi concentration camps, or, more famously, in the Warsaw Ghetto.Palestinian resistance arises out of a similarly oppressive situation. The degree of violent response varies from case to case, indeed; in many instances resistance is mainly nonviolent. Despite all the odds against them, people resiliently continue to live, study, pray and plant crops in occupied land. In a few cases, they actively resist and resort to violence. This violent resistance may be defensive (and, thus, to my mind, morally acceptable), such as the resistance of the Jenin refugee camp fighters as Israeli death machines approached; or it may take the form of unacceptable offensive acts, such as the bombing of Israeli civilians celebrating a Passover meal. In all cases, however, it is individual Palestinians who choose the form of resistance, and the choices they make should not characterize the entire nation. http://www.ifamericansknew.org/cur_sit/pal-resist.html http://972mag.com/on-the-palestinians-legal-right-to-fight-the-occupation/30855/ FreePalestine
Dolev 867
They won elections fair. And Israel didn't like it. I also don't like Israeli election's winner, does that allow me to put siege over Israel, block all their borders and bomb them to ground every 2-3 years? It's a paradox to claim we want peace and continue with land grab and building of illegal settlements. Cause that means more burning of Palestinian olive trees and destruction of their homes. Is that wanting peace? And what will we do about stoning and hit and run price tag attacks of Israeli settlers, which are not equal in front of the law for the same crimes, they are above it. Spare me. As if Hamas sat by and didn't fired rockets towards Israel or killed & captured its soldiers. Who do you think you're lying to? Israel has every right to defend itself and will do so. Gaza borders Egypt as well and if both nations closed their borders for this strip of land then it might say something about the cause of the problem. Israel majority wants peace and supports the 2-states solution, polls show. But Israel majority also fears of Islamic fundamentalism 15 min away of Tel Aviv. Oh it fears, so why are Al Qaeda wounded treated in Israeli hospitals? Hamas responded with rockets after Israel declared war on Gaza. IS is killing muslims, not interested in Israel. Don't tell me about Egypt, they are under dictator who has nice relationship with Israel, why do you think he cares about anyone except his own ass? He doesn't have issue with killing his own people. He doesn't have issue with killing his own people.Because he's a master of growing fears among Israeli people. Fears that are realistic if we're looking at past experience (Gaza's evacuation).Israel takes care of all people on humanitarian base. Not matter what beliefs you hold. The fact that you use this to deny the danger of Islamists. Hamas is just as bad as Isis. They're both killing everyone who oppose them. Both Egypt and Palestine are Arabian and Muslim. Egypt fights for a Palestinian state just like any other Arab nation. Egypt suffers from Hamas as well and that's the only reason it's borders are closed to Gaza. Actions speak louder than words. Because it did happen. Google it. That's not hard and that's clearly not the first time Iran's regime is threatening to destroy Israel. Not you backtracking now back to those conspiracies. We we're talking about mass killing with nuclear weapons.

Second, as I said, Egypt supports Palestine and its statehood since ever. It has noting to do with it not wanting to suffer more off Hamas' terror. Hamas is exactly the same as ISIS. It's moto is to destroy Israel, It's cares nothing about establishing a Palestinian state nor Palestinian people. Instead of building Gaza and developing it, Hamas made Gaza into hell. Individual people are not dangerous + don't worry. they're being checked.

For Greater Israel. I'm afraid Islamists are stupid. Excuse me for not finding logic in this reckless state of mind. Ther'e nothing that could erase a heritage. Expansions are indeed wrong and I agree with you, I don't support this Idea and I think its hurting Israel more than benefiting. That being said, there's no chance for real peace right now. Not even the Palestinian believes in their leadership and Hamas will take any chance to take control over the West Bank as well. http://www.nytimes.com/2015/03/31/world/middleeast/among-palestinians-discontent-with-abbas-grows.html?ref=world
