AgusPop 4,064
I didn't single you out, in fact I quoted a bunch of people.what the **** are you talking about trying to "expose"?get it together. and why the hell should i apologize?Something is wrong when for a single song the artists make millions. its so disproportionate compared with other artists.Think in a Sculptor. He makes a statue and he sells it. He does not get money for every future buyer. He only gets one paid. Now, you think about music. The Musician receives a lot of money for every future buyer againg and again.

The Musician receives a lot of money for every future buyer againg and again.first of all, it's rare to make millions just on one song.second of all, a sculptor makes ONE piece of art. It's a one-of-a-kind. A song or a movie is intended to be made copies of and sold to many people. You can't compare the two. It makes no sense. and it's not "wrong" for someone to have an income-stream over a long period of time when they release a song. The artist, publisher and label get a share of the income every time a song is being played on radio, on tv, in a movie, when someone releases a cover, someone covers it on tv shows like american idol or the voice, if a sample of the song is used in another song and it's being played etc. and it adds up.It should be noted that artists don't make much money from record sales anymore. What does it cost to make a song?Do you need a producer a writer and composer and some time. Let us assume $5,000 for one song.Ok, now, if you sell a song $1,5 , you only need 3,333 copies sold to recover the investment. from there it's all 100 percent profit. Tell me another product that has that kind of profitability. If you sell 100,000 copies you're earning 2,000 percent . For me it is theft.

Haroon 49,685
They are insane if they think people will pay 240$ a year to stream music. It's for people who spend $240+ a year on music anyway, so getting Tidal will be the cheaper alternative and will be saving them money

Something having a large profit margin doesn't mean it's theft in the slightest, I question your perception of thievery
yassitscarcass 13
"If you refer to Tidal as Illuminati, you are paying us the highest of compliments. As I've stated before it is another name for "The Enlightened Ones" a group of scientists, philosophers and artists that emerged after the dark ages. They changed and shaped the world for the better! Do the research and find out for yourself!"Conspiracies are different from something from 400 years ago... wyd Madge Maybe she should read up on what the conspirators theorize over?
