Hmmmm You may have not paid, but the money comes out of Madonna's & her team's & her label's pocket because they would've gained the money had you acquired it legally I believe that's what she's saying about this whole thing; even if you don't pay anything for something, it's still coming out of someone's pocket because they would've gained money otherwise.
