omg...can someone please explain me what is this SHlT

It's WiMP with a new name, owned by Jay-Z who co-signed these artists to be a part of it. It's a music streaming service (like Spotify, but instead of 10$ it's 20$) with higher quality sound in the file itself. These improvements can be heard, but what you really need to hear the difference is good sound equipment, if you don't have really good earphones or good sound equipment then there's no point in spending money in this... This is another form for the artists involved to make more money.

They say the industry is controlling them, how they are looked at, and they want to use Tidal as a platform to give the public what the artists want, not what the industry want... (No need for this because they actually have own Twitter, Insta, Face, own websites) where they mostly can say what they want anyway...

It's basically a higher quality streaming program for those who have good sound equipment, or money they don't need tbh. It's like buying a new iPhone, when the older version is just as good.

It's true. Gaga's "putting art back into the forefront" was about her ALBUM. Madonna saying this is about a streaming platform that is run by artists instead of a company. Y'all wrong for that one.

really.....they have made so much drama about it.....i tought something special was about to happen

Something special DID happen. For the first time in history, artists will have control over their streams, we'll get better quality music from them and more content. We'll get exclusive footage, songs, articles and all of their social media and live updates directly trough the app. Just because it isn't completely free doesn't mean that it's bullsh*t. I swear half of the members on this board can't read.

That's the only special thing that happen. Everything else was already invented before this.

It's not, at all. Read the OP again. And it's $9.99 for the standard version.
This board is so negative today oh my god.

Well no, so sorry for being abit harsh (again). But time to loosen up on Gaga's impact stuff too, since it's not in any sence true. Peace out! :) Let's focus on the actual topic (me included).

Most of us saying "Gaga's impact" are joking. Can't believe people take everything seriously lol.

If I have beats headphones will I notice a significant difference? Or say my beats pill? Also do you get to download any audio files? Like can I get the music onto my iTunes? If not it isn't worth the money.
