RAMROD 117,062
This is so vile and unecessary tbh. Alexandre 88
That's seriously ****ed up. How many people are going to suffer, get ridiculed and ostracized over "religious freedom"? Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with religion, but it's silly and simply inhuman to have people get rejected for being gay in 2015. Nobody comes for religious people and nobody refuses to serve religious people because of their BELIEF. But they would choose to reject someone for the way they ARE. It angers me even more that GOVERNERS are the ones who are making those moves, instead of someone with no impact whatsoever like Shirley Phelps-Roper. They should be the ones who prone equality, not stepping over someone's freedom and basic rights for their belief (which are subjective and should not be forced on anyone). As if being gay took away their religiousness or whatever....
Haroon 49,685
That's so wrong Firstly because they'll be enforcing stereotypes, and secondly because this is such a step back. Really disappointing actually
Ray of Light 8,134
Hiding behind "religious freedom" to take an individual's rights is so cowardly and simply disgusting. How are these people voted into office? It's sad to see such a disgusting anti-LGBT agenda spread over politics; which is why we must vote. Get out there and vote gays; its your right and a duty. Let's save ourselves from more brutes like these.
Economy 52,854
America gotta do what Canada did back in the day... Force Provinces to allow same-s-x marriage and have anti-discrimination laws whether they agreed with it or not Lower levels of Government always get cheezed when the Federal Government interfears with their authority but sometimes its necessairy before 2005 only some Provinces allowed same-s-x marriage. If Federal Government didnt step in, some probably still wouldnt allow it who knows

MahoganySnitch 67
Fairly certain this *really* applies only to Christian business owners. Let's see how the right-wing will celebrate this law when a Muslim/Sikh/atheist/what-have-you denies a Christian service. Wonder if they'll celebrate it then. Hmm.
