Alii 2,039
Queer is a wider term used by people that do not want to be associated with a specific gender and/or s-xual orientation. It also excludes straight cisgender people, because... well... they don't need that term lol. So no, it's not only men that are attracted to other men who can use that word. So more like pans-xuals? Thanks for explaining it tho.

Is that just non-binary tho? Or gender queer? Then who are they? I'm not in an English speaking country so I don't get to know who uses it. My understanding of the term queer is anybody who isn't straight and cisgender. Queer usually means strange but in the LGBTQ+ community it's what I said. Queer: 1) An umbrella term sometimes used by LGBTQA people to refer to the entire LGBT community. Source ♢ Social Justice Enthusiast ♢

That's just how I see that word, but I could be wrong. I feel like someone should make a thread about all the different identities and their definitions, because it gets confusing at times and I'm not even familiar with the whole list. Cody Draco 2,531
The full acronym would probably be something along the lines of: LGBTIAPDQ but that's SO long http://gagadaily.com/uploads/default_air.jpg So I guess LGBTQ+ is simplest. What? im positive that it stands for queer (which is an umbrella term for anything which isn't heteros-xual cisgender). Q stands for questioning, at least that is what I was told back in my school days.
