Maybe if he'd had worded it a little differently and if I had the money, I would support the foundation but if you have to be snarky, I'll take my coins to the iTunes Store and buy ARTPOP I disagree, and not even for the sake of respect or polite, but just like.. literally. Religion is definitely an intrusion on what should be a secular, but open to religion market. In America, because it is a majorly held belief system, it is unabashedly used to get around the concept of Separation of Church and State - which had a real, profound purpose. Religion loves Religion, and it tries to do things like exempt itself from legislation or push it upon others subtly already. If so many people weren't Christian in America, these "religious exemption" laws that essentially make discriminating against someone on religious grounds legally acceptable would not gain so much traction - Or things like denying birth control because you disagree with it... Religious exemptions being a big thing currently, this is why I find an ad like this to actually be kind of hilarious (and useful, but no one will take it seriously) I think religion definitely "intrudes" upon the legal system. Hell, you're odds of even getting into the legal system or politics as non religious in the past were essentially 0%. You definitely can't be president if you aren't at least religious. Making people take the stand ,but swearing by a Bible to tell the truth? I'm one of Jehovah's Witnesses, but we don't force people to listen or accept the Bible or the belief in God.
