Well she does have scattered tour dates and plans to film AHS this year.  Plus all of the extra things we got earlier in the year.  Yea.

Yes, it's easy to drift from an artist when new music isn't being released for long periods of time. This happened to me and I'm sure many others during the hiatus between BTW and ARTPOP.

The true fans will be here to support her whenever she releases anything, whatever it may be. That's when you know that the relationship that you as a fan have with Gaga is real. It's no big deal, really.

To be honest, this is my firs tall in blackout era and it's REALLY difficult. But, we'll all make it. And btw, you can like other peoples music.

Nope :)

I was just listening to ARTPOP for the first time in about a month and it sounded so good.

Expanding your tastes is definitely the key to getting through a gap in your fave's career. Back when Xtina was pretty much the only artist I listened to, waiting 4 years between albums was torture. But these days, as an amateur music reviewer, I'm listening to everything and discovering many surprises. Even when listening to stuff that isn't good, it's just good to be listening to music in general, new stuff especially. This made the wait between BTW and AP a whole lot easier and I'm getting through the gap between AP and the new album quite nicely by listening to any undiscovered music from my most favourite genres and checking out all the new albums out right now. It's amazing how quickly time passes and before you know it, Gaga's dropping her new album and it won't have felt like very long at all. It'll also make you appreciate her music a whole lot more when you don't bore yourself with it 24/7. I was listening to a small selection of tracks from AP recently and really realised how good they are whereas when I was listening to them everyday, I'd become somewhat desensitised to their greatness.

I drift away from her every time she's not in an era. I frequent GGD less, and enjoy listening and enjoying new music by other artists  it's normal to feel that way. For me at least
