This might be too early to start a thread, but lots of rumours are coming in, so here it is...

WHAT WE KNOW / RUMOURS

- The series is currently planned to run for 10 weeks from the start of May to mid-July. This means it will start a month earlier than normal, but Celebrity Big Brother will start at the same time as normal in mid-August. Therefore there will be a gap of one month between the two series, hopefully in an attempt to boost CBB ratings.

- The exact start date will be revealed in the next few weeks.

- BIG BROTHER HAS BEEN RENEWED UNTIL THE END OF 2018! The move was announced this week land guarantees one civilian and two celebrity series per year, meaning that by the time the deal runs out Big Brother will have been on the air for nineteen years,  among it one of Britain's longest-running reality series.

- Rumours are floating around that one of this year's housemates will be Kylie Evans, sister of ex-footballer Ched Evans (I had no idea, had to Google him).

- A source who reported the May start date also claims that the house has been completely refurbished. This is only a rumour.

- Following Viacom's Channel 5 takeover, the prize fund is now £150,000.

- Assistant producer @JanetteHodds was scouting around for people on Twitter in January, but now she says her job is done. So have all the housemates been selected?
