I'm fine with being in a relationship with someone who isn't really a fan, but if they really hated her and couldn't respect the fact I was a huge fan, then that would cause issues. Only if they just actually didnt like her specific music or whatever... as in they werent just a pressed hater who hated "pop music" because it was lacking in interest and creativity or "not real music"... though maybe that'd be accepted if they at least appreciated that I saw beauty in it  

If they just plain hate Gaga's music because they like HATE her guts, we might fight over how important she is to me occassionally, but i think in general being able to respect my love for her would be all I need  I think of it in similar regards to my passion. I play the flute and love classical music and I don't think I could be with someone who doesnt appreciate the depth and beauty of classical music mostly because I think its a little indicative of closed-minded ness or sometimes ignorance in extreme cases. Music is kind of my entire life and I'd be very put off by someone who can't even attempt to empathize with my passion.
