Adele's 21 is the U.K.'s best-selling artist album of the millennium so far, with sales edging towards 5 million, a new survey reveals.

The British singer-songwriter's sophomore album has outpaced Amy Winehouse's Back to Black to lead the Top 50 Official Biggest Selling Artist Albums of the Millennium, a new list published overnight by the Official Charts Company.
