Azor Ahai 18,861
She hates her moms because her dad was a **** ?
Emvee 8,830
I mean, I just feel bad for her. Poor thing is confused and it's much easier for her to blame her two moms than to accept the fact that her dad doesn't love her. A lot of people do that; but, honestly, she did not need to go to the media with this tragic story. She looks like a fool.

Cody Draco 2,531
Bitch doesn't realise that even if there was no same-s-x marriage she'd still have that "hole" since her father was not a good guy anyway. So again, how is this a case against marriage equality? I know! This b---h is so stupid. So it's gay marriage that caused her to not have a father? Her logic is non-existent. Knife 7,079
I can't at y'all knowing better than the person who experienced it on their own skin This girl is blaming her loving parents for the void she felt because her father was a dead beat who wanted nothing to do with her. It doesn't take some special kind of insight to see how that logic is faulty.
Emvee 8,830
I can't at y'all knowing better than the person who experienced it on their own skin And she is basically trying to speak for all children of same-s-x partners by being publicly against gay marriage. Her situation is not the rule, it's an exception. She longs for a father because at one point she had one. My personal experience is never having a father and having a step dad who I thought was a complete ass. Does this mean I should be against remarrying and giving your children a step parent? No. Logic. This girl has none.
Luiz 4,253
i get that you disagree with her but i wouldnt call her stupid, just traumatized. I disapprove of what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it.
Cody Draco 2,531
I can't at y'all knowing better than the person who experienced it on their own skin I can't at you defending someone who is against the concept of gay marriage because her heteros-xual father wanted nothing to do with her. Bye 3,947
How much would you bet she's getting paid by anti-gay organisations?
Cody Draco 2,531
Omg Just because she went through that, doesn't mean all kids of same s-x parents will go through the same. Same s-x couples shouldnt be deprived of loving and caring for a child just because she had a bad experience. She doesn't represent all children with same s-x kids so she shouldn't try to stop their parents from being together and raising that kid. Her issue isn't even with her same s-x parents. It's with her dead beat father. She's a stupid hoe.

Whispering 18,865
So...she had not one, but two parents in her life who loved and provided for her, gave her a sense of community, and taught her important values. Poor thing...I can see why she is complaining. There are so many kids out there in households with single parents who are struggling with time and money or there are step parents who are abusive or toxic to the family unit. She should go and talk to some kids that had these home environments and be grateful for the loving, supportive family unit she was blessed with! GagaMyBlood95 9,915
Um she never really met her father as I understood right? So how can she be sure that she would have been better with a mother and a father than with the family who raised her? I mean, not judging, but it makes no sense to me.. And she sounds perfectly fine, 4 kids of her own.
Cody Draco 2,531
Someone who is this stupid doesn't deserve to be a parent. The gays should take her kids.
Jester 6,388
Why do I think none of you have actually read the full essay? She never said she hated her moms, what's wrong with you guys Half of the essay is about her love and the strong bond she has with both of them and the rest of community! And she was two when her father left them, so there's no way she remembers him at all. Basically what she's saying is that it's not equal having two same s-x parents and both a father and a mother. She just always needed a dad even though she had 2 parents. Here's the rest of the essay for those who actually care to read it instead of judging over the title and a few sentences and spitting on her for having an different opinion: http://thefederalist.com/2015/03/17/dear-gay-community-your-kids-are-hurting/ "There are so many of us. Many of us are too scared to speak up and tell you about our hurt and pain, because for whatever reason it feels like you’re not listening. That you don’t want to hear. If we say we are hurting because we were raised by same-s-x parents, we are either ignored or labeled a hater. This isn’t about hate at all. I know you understand the pain of a label that doesn’t fit and the pain of a label that is used to malign or silence you. And I know that you really have been hated and that you really have been hurt. I was there, at the marches, when they held up signs that said, “God hates fags” and “AIDS cures homos-xuality.” I cried and turned hot with anger right there in the street with you. I know this is a hard conversation. But we need to talk about it. If anyone can talk about hard things, it’s us. You taught me that."
