I work at a store that plays cheap karaoke soundalike covers over their speakers instead of the originals. Our playlist actually has a great range of songs, just mostly terrible people singing them while trying too hard to sound like the original artist. We have four Gaga songs: Poker Face, Just Dance, Born This Way, and The Edge of Glory. I found three of the four covers on YouTube. They're also on iTunes under various soundalike and karaoke albums. They're so horrible but fun to laugh at. Many of the covers are sung by the same people and sometimes they have really thick accents which ruins the song even more. EDIT: These videos are not available outside the US, apparently. Here is an alternate video of the Just Dance cover. I can't find the other two. Sorry. This is the Poker Face cover with only the backup vocals. For those in the US, these videos should work... Poker Face: "Muh muh muh MAHHHH..." Born This Way: Just Dance (the worst one IMO): You can tell it's the same singer as the Poker Face cover. But OH MY LORD, THE COLBY O'DONIS SINGER. "AMAAAZIN'...MUUUUSIC..." Many of the lyrics are wrong, too. "I'm psychotic, sync hypnotic, got my blue burners and phonic" Unfortunately, I can't find the TEOG one. I'm 99% sure the singer on that one is the same one who sings this cover of Adele's Rolling in the Deep. My personal ranking of these covers from most tolerable to least: BTW, TEOG, (huge gap) PF, JD. Sometimes if it's not too busy and there are no other employees around, I take out my phone and sync up the original track with the cover and turn up my phone so that the original drowns out the cover. It usually works well, except I can always still hear the "MUH MUH MUH MAHHH" in the PF cover. Just sharing these for anyone who needs a good laugh.
