since the begining of her career Gaga always has written her songs just because she gives credit to her producers because she is gentle and understands the value of the business in the music world doesn't mean that she needs 9 people to help her write her songs. The only song that  Gaga hasn't fully written by herself is Till It Happens To You because it was collaborative work btw her and Diane and even there she contributed with writting and even produced the song

​no she did not needed 9 people to WRITE the lyrics to Applause, she needed 9 people to make Applause .... all of the people beside Lady Gaga are sound  engineers, composers or producers they contribute  to the mixing and executing song's melody. rhythm, flow etc.  they do not help her write it on paper ...... it's like u people are acting dumb for the sake of it, u have head on ur shoulders use it

​as if these "statements" mean a thing. you don't know what's going on backstage, i don't know that either, nobody knows. so stop pretending like you knew. applause doesn't have all those names credited to it just for the giggles, obviously a lot of people worked on it, and it's very possible that gaga got a lot of help in the songwriting.

The others listed on Applause were DJs , synth people, sound engineers and mixers... NOT lyricists. 

They are not professional songwriters/lyricists and they did not write the lyrics to Applause.
