InsideOutright 1,118
http://nydn.us/1b1SRch This Florida woman probably needs a new emoji to convey her feelings. Sheena Keynna, 27, survived getting clipped by a freight train after walking into its path while texting Monday, police said. Keynna "wasn't paying attention" and somehow did not hear the train barreling down the tracks when she walked around the crossing gates, Lakeland Police Sgt. Gary Gross told the Ledger of Lakeland. The train clipped her and threw her into the air, Gross said. The hit fractured her right arm and injured her right leg. Keynna was transported to the hospital. No additional information was available. The train had two locomotives and 27 rail cars carrying consumer goods from Winter Haven to Jacksonville, said Kristin Seay, a spokeswoman for transport company CSX. The accident delayed nearby train traffic for about two hours.

Goosey 3,017
And that's another reason why it's so silly to carry around cellular phones! I always see some people looking at their screens and walk into a telephone pole or go through a crosswalk without looking up! And besides, brain tumours. Haroon 49,685
She's lucky she's not dead That was quite an easily avoidable situation, I really hope people (both the ones involved and those reading about it) learn from mistakes like these and pay more attention when crossing streets and tracks and such And that's another reason why it's so silly to carry around cellular phones! I always see some people looking at their screens and walk into a telephone pole or go through a crosswalk without looking up! And besides, brain tumours. Well to be fair it's the same thing with anything that requires someone's vision and attention to be on it That's like saying it's silly to carry around books because you could walk into a telephone pole or walk across a street without looking because you're reading It's not the book's/phone's fault, it's people not making correct decisions about the time and place to use such items
Computer 10,980
How horrible for her.I have to think I wouldn't do that but man we are all zombies on our devices now, that was bound to happen to someone.Sad and terrifying and look where you are walking omg. 💚💛💕❣⭕💢💢 | ⓜⓔⓡⓡⓨ ©ⓗⓡⓘⓢⓣⓜⓐⓢ

I don't see the need for such devices unless you're working on 1980s Wall Street or something like Michael Douglas. And as I mentioned, it's possible these cause adverse health effects: http://www.cancer.org/cancer/cancercauses/othercarcinogens/athome/cellular-phones "a recent small study in people has shown that cell phones may have some effects on the brain, although it’s not clear if they’re harmful. The study found that when people had an active cell phone held up to their ear for 50 minutes, brain tissues on the same side of the head as the phone used more glucose than did tissues on the other side of the brain" "I am the world's greatest person that does not want to let people into the country."—US President Donald J. It's like how people say standing near a microwave when it's being used is dangerous - okay it may be but instead of getting rid of everything with adverse health effects, why not just use the device in a safer manner?
