Paper Planes 340
1989: ★★★★☆For the past few album cycles, Swift was clearly turning her direction in two separate worlds to please both country and pop audiences. Red contained the most distinct splits in Swift's personality to date, as Max Martin and Shellback handicrafts somehow graced the same track-listing as country-oriented tracks like "Red," "Begin Again," and "Holy Ground." Now, her newest collaborations with the Swedish producers are right at home on 1989, in company with fellow productions from Jack Antonoff and Ryan Tedder. Swift merely hints at the late '80s influences that were said to inspire it, but more often than not, she simply brings us some fresh, modern pop tunes on her most consistent and high quality body of work to date. Bellatrix 34,783
Ikr ?! Problem is, it says on one of the stores' website that 1989 is released on the 29th. So I don't understand anything... I'll still hit the stores tomorrow to find it, I mean, there were photos on Instagram of people buying it on Friday (before it leaked), so I have some hope to find it ! How great it would be if everyone could stick to the same date.. I really don't know what to do. I wanna look for the CD tomorrow, since I like collecting CDs but at the same time I'm not a big fan of Taylor so I feel that I should get the digital version in iTunes because it would be cheeper since I got SIO, OOTW and W2NY there. Lose control. Let go and fall. Do you get the satisfaction?

I completely understand. I remember when The New Classic was released I knew it wouldn't be sold in stores here but I still tried to find it. It wasn't there so I bought it on iTunes. Two weeks later, I go to a music store (the same as before) and the CD was there. I got so mad And when Red was released (October 22nd apparently everywhere), it was officially released here on November 5th. It was torture. It's pretty tough to give you advice, because I also love collecting CDs, but maybe wait until you can listen to the previews on iTunes to know if you think you'll buy a physical or digital version. Aww, that sucks! Yeah I will wait and listen to the previews :) Also I need to see what it costs. The stores here tend to be a little more expensive than online stores Lose control. Let go and fall. The stores here tend to be a little more expensive than online stores Here the deluxe edition is 16.99€, which is why I'll buy it as soon as I find it, because in a few weeks, it'll be much more (well, maybe 22€ but still, that's a 5 euro difference...). I really hope you'll like it :) And I also hope it's not too expensive !!

Pop 4,541
I literally love all the songs. The whole album is so cohesive and there is not one sucky song. This will be a record I will be playing for a long time to come. The Taylor Brigade: KNOCKOUT
Oyemiamor 40
I really like this album too, each song has great melodies that hook you in. It is a very soft pop album but that's what people love her for. I wish it was more 80's like she said she was inspired by, but still I am impressed that mostly all the songs are quality. I really thought out of the woods was bad the first few times I heard it, but honestly I am obsessed with that song. It is the stand out track from this album. Like Red was for me on the last album.
