Her music takes second place. She had like two or three actual hits off her last album. Like one #1. How the **** is this a slaying brand again? Read again. I didn't say slaying brand I said quality brand. Everybody praises her songwriting and knows her projects are made with a huge deal of care. She has seven Grammys and record sells put almost every show. This shows that not only she has talent but that people care for it. She hasn't had boyfriend rumors since Conor Kennedy two years ago and she is an album artist (the reciepts prove it). She sold this album relying purely on the fact that a new Taylor Swift album means a new quality album. It might be one of Madonna's weakest efforts but let's talk when Gaga reaches he 12th album People just expected more because M allways made flowless albums! You say people don't understand Gaga (which I completely agree) and then proceed to b---h and complain about low sales and scratch your head when people buy an album like 1989 in droves and say "its not fair!! Why can't Gaga sale this much because she's such a better artist". I have news for you, Quality is not defined by one fanbase, it's defined as how it's received. It's a fact, same thing happened with BEYONCE for example, same thing is happening with 1989 (music examples, you have those examples everywhere). If it's widely successful doesn't mean it's good...
