And there weren't any C2C albums given away, like is happening with RH.

Given away? Erm... $200 isn't giving anything away, no matter how they decide to package it.

That's still given away though... That's the regular price of a seat to see her live. This is just a strategy to grow her albums sales... That's a smart strategy but quite desperate to me... I mean most fans who are going to assist the show will get another album while they probably already has bought it...

Whatever, that's just a commercial strategy, that's good for her if it grows her total sales at the end..

If it's under $3.99 it doesn't count for billboard so I'm not sure what's being achieved. Also, regardless of ticket prices before, the cost of an album being built in isn't difficult when they're so expensive.

A real giveaway would be giving free tickets with the album not the other way around.

I think the bundle thing i a good idea. And to all the people blaming L4L for flopping, let's not act like the leaks didn't murder her album/lead single promotion. I'm actually surprised the album is selling that much !

At the end of the day, we all know she's going to SMASH with her tour.

The attitude of the Madonna stans on this site is what has feed this stan war. And I agree with you, their competitiveness and general negativity towards Gaga have been nothing but petty. The cycle starts when they set the tone.

You are correct, the music industry has changed drastically in the past few years, which is exactly what was stated daily here back in 2013 and 2014 when the trolls and fans of others here were saying that a top 10 album and top 10 tour were "flops".

If you don't like Gaga, just ignore her. If you like her, enjoy it. It is highly unlikely we will ever have a pop star and artist like her again.

See how that works. ;)

Why do you have a problem with doing as the person you quoted suggested though; rising above the immature Madonna stans from late 2013 or whatever; your willingness to defend the equally immature behaviour here just showcases your own immaturity and inability to let go of grudges, not to mention petty in the 'them vs us' culture. It's all pretty sad because unlike the majority of "Madonna haters" (I'm using the term lightly, I don't know or care if that's acc the case) you're clearly intelligent.

First 3 days sales in UK from UK Mix:

1 - Madonna - 27,479
2 - Sam Smith - 16,911
3 - Ed Sheeran - 13,762
4 - Noel Gallagher - 13,669
5 - George Ezra - 8,262

She was at 25k after 2 days, so likely will end up around 35k.

:applause:When the tour smashes, haters will seethe for sure. But then you won't hear from them.

Look at this rundown of Madonna haters just in this thread. They will all be quiet when the tour breaks records - her own records.

The decay is real for the former queen of pop.

Hope Empire snatches it. Great show!

Don't buy Rebel Heart.

I hope Empire, the better album, gets that #1

All I have to say is .... #BUYEMPIREONITUNES

:Jase:

Everyone go buy the Empire soundtrack NOW! :bunny: #c*ntsis

The interesting thing is that when Madonna stans and other fanbases come after Gaga for not selling as she used to, or failing to achieve like before, they will play the victims, like they are not feeding into this continuous cycle of petty competitiveness.

I honestly feel sorry for people who can't be respectful of someone like Madonna, who achieved so much in her career, who broke boundaries for female artists, who paved the way for so many who came after her and followed her footsteps. She is Madonna and she will always be the Queen of Pop. She may not have radio play because she is 57, she may not have another radio hit, but if you google her, all the media outlets call her the 'Queen of Pop', 'hitmaker Madonna', simply because she is for everything she achieved, and that, haters can't change as much as they want.

Not sure why you quoted me in a post about Madonna haters. All I said is I want Empire to get #1 because it's an excellent soundtrack and a show I love. That doesn't make me a madonna hater. I didn't say anything bad about her so :bye:
