Stop the excuses Medonsters!

The numbers are low and disappointing and you know it. :usrs:

Instead of false arguments, better you think what are the Madonnas-Team mistakes  e.g. She should have released the album when the leak happened or wrong lead single, etc

Whispering

The attitude in this thread is what feeds stan wars. Petty competitiveness. If you didn't like Madonna stans saying ARTPOP flopped, don't do the same. Be above it. Otherwise, it just feeds into this cycle of them coming after Gaga when she next releases something. And it's not just them, it's Katy's, Lana's, Taylor's, Beyonce's fans.

The music industry is constantly changing, chart rules change and even Gaga isn't immune to the decline in actual album sales that has been happening.

If you don't like her, just ignore her. If you like her, enjoy it. It is very unlikely we will ever have a pop star like her again.

The attitude of the Madonna stans on this site is what has feed this stan war. And I agree with you, their competitiveness and general negativity towards Gaga have been nothing but petty. The cycle starts when they set the tone.

You are correct, the music industry has changed drastically in the past few years, which is exactly what was stated daily here back in 2013 and 2014 when the trolls and fans of others here were saying that a top 10 album and top 10 tour were "flops".

If you don't like Gaga, just ignore her. If you like her, enjoy it. It is highly unlikely we will ever have a pop star and artist like her again.

See how that works. ;)

Empire has been consistently been above her since the release of both albums on both Amazon and iTunes. It might end up being number 1. The only thing is I don't know if those extra sales will get Empire to beat her 55k+ presale numbers.

and Barbra's numbers are pure album sales. The one 125k prediction for Madonna included TEA's and SEA's. Madonna's pure album sales numbers will be lower than Britney Jean's 117k pure sales number.

Both fanbases can be so freaking ugly, just waiting for one thing after another to jump on to put down the artist. It's such a freaking viscous cycle and it's doing my head in.

God so many Madonna haters.

Really? The majority posting here are Medonsters. It's nothing like Katy or Iggy gets.

I notice the same thing in the media and other boards. In 2012, people were more into hating on the b---hy Queen. Now it's like: "Poor thing, victim of ageism, she's really trying this time." But with less heat is coming fewer sales. Next era she might pull off an underdog image.
