That's just semantics. For all intents and purposes, Judas flopped and marked the end of the Gaga golden age.

TEOG disagrees with you..

TEOG disagrees with you..

This is such a stupid argument. Most people know Gaga's popularity took a huge hit after the BTW/Judas eras. That's why none of the singles afterward have even 100 million views or sold more than 5 million WW. Excluding Applause.

You just can't compare her popularity now to what it was before Judas.

It was top 10. It might not be her biggest hit but it definitely didn't "tank" lol

it did tank.... it was top 10 and then dropped off super quick

it was a single for under two weeks! they released TEOG as a promo singles and Interscope just like with what happened with DWUW and Venus saw it was selling numbers so they switched singles you can't "flop" if there was no significant time to show growth in the charts

They shouldnt even be thinking about "hits" or chart success. Write what's on their hearts and artistic vision and let the cards fall where they may. I want them both stretching boundaries and not trying to reclaim the past. Let us hear something completely different.

I don't buy that excuse. Judas had 36m AI, more than MTN which in fact had a proper single life, and a TON of promo.

The single was falling on the iTunes charts on its own, not because it was cut short. Interscope made the right decision with both TEOG and DWUW, tbh. Because just like Judas, Venus began to plummet after its release. If a song is a hit, it remains in the top 20, at least. Both Judas and Venus literally tanked.

This is why we need DaddyOne.

On topic: Please make the next album slay. I'm so glad she's working with RedOne instead of Fernando Garibay, Zedd or new producers though. I love them all but RedOne really is different, Poker Face, Bad Romance and Judas were so good. Also Gaga tends to always experience new producers, still can't believe she chose an old one.

Well yes usually she does but she always sticks with KingOne

I still remember the reaction I had for Judas which I didn't have for Born This Way, RedOne > Fernando, though I like Fernando.

Ummm Marry the Night, Dance in The Dark.... They say Hi...
