hmm 979
It has no meaning tho Isn't life itself meaningless though? Plus the kravica falls look beautiful too. As to why I'm suddenly stanning for B+H I have no idea
Bellatrix 34,811
It has no meaning tho I beg to differ. Acording to a book about flags I have the stars are a reference to the European flag and the triangle is because the shape of B&H reminds of a triangle. So it's something at least Lose control. Let go and fall. Do you get the satisfaction?

Rock Jock 993
I don't really care for Eurovision, but I hope none of you guys are voting for Russia!
hmm 979
Palestine should really be invited into Eurovision, it would send a strong message of the European belief in the two state system and would bring a new cultural flavour to the competition I know it's not exactly their primary concern at the moment but they've been an IOC since the mid 90s so why not the ESC

Not every European country recognize Palestine, thank God, as a an own state. It's a region full of radicals. Don't bring Pro-palestine promo in the ESC please. I'm not here for a region who wants to see the death of Israel and their leaders denying the Holocaust as part of the ESC, no thanks.

Don't bring Pro-palestine promo in the ESC please. I'm not here for a region who wants to see the death of Israel and their leaders denying the Holocaust as part of the ESC, no thanks. To an extent they don't recognise Palestine; but majority of them recognise that the land there is assigned to be a Palestinian state; in simple terms. A region full of radicals is a complete hyperbole; akin to saying that Ireland is "full of drunks" or any other racist stereotype. There are plenty of Palestinians supportive and desperate for peace, like any other person in a conflict region. In the past few days Benjamin Netanyahu has proven himself to show arguably racist traits "the Arabs are voting in drones" and a person not even having objectives of peace (his words that there would never be a Palestinian state under him), so if a country led by him can be in Eurovision; then why can't Palestine. If Russia can be in Eurovision, then why can't Palestine. The European, American and wider international (in general) idealised solution is a two-state solution so if Israel (which isn't a part of Europe) can enter a song competition; then why can't Palestine (equally not in Europe). Palestine (PLO) recognises Israel too. Holocaust denial is obviously awful; but other ESC contestants (Azerbaijan and Turkey) (effectively) deny the Armenian genocide yet compete in Eurovision without problems. Palestine's leaders may not be ideal; but that is hardly an exclusive problem to Palestine - if the Olympics; the far more important, significant and politically relevant organisation can give Palestine permission to compete; then a song contest could easily do so; clearly a lot of people can't even count to two. First of all, this thread is about the ESC, it's stupid to bring up the Israel-Palestine conflict up now since we obviously stand on opposite sites. Full of radicals? Yes it is. Full of religious radicals. It'd be stupid to compare a fact with a stereotype that Irish are drunk. It's not a secret that due to the lack of education in Palestine, extremist religious leaders can attract the population. And never mind that disappearing of the Christian population there due to Islaminzation. No I don't et why you think that every Isareli think the same as Netanyahu. I personally don't really agree with him and I wished that the left-wing party won. Another thing is that Israel is culturally close to Europe and is actually a Western country with Western ideals while Palestine is clearly not. Two wrong things don't make one right. I don't agree with the participating of Azerbaijan as well due to the deny of the horrible genocide of Armenians. I don't see how Palestine, a totally culturally not related region, should participate there. They should focus on their problems like education or building up infrastructure than focusing on a Song contest which is only about politics anyway. Bellatrix 34,811
Please keep the politics out of this thread. It doesn't belong in Eurovision. Lose control. Let go and fall. Do you get the satisfaction?
